Weasley Garcia, Birdville High School Finalist

Meet Weasley Garcia, a Birdville High School Soccer player and a finalist of the Feather of Courage Scholarship.

Weasley has acquired many skills in his time at Birdville HS. He has his S/P2 Certification in Construction and Welding Industry, placed 2nd in State for Skills USA in Land Surveying, is a track athlete and band member.

Weasley’s most memorable moment was when they beat Richland. Experience the excitement in his own words: The energy on the field was electric. Everyone was playing their best with incredibly high intensity, making the game even more energetic. The stands produced an ear ringing amount of cheers and screams enough to be heard for a mile. We played our hearts out. It was an amazin feeling to be there with your team and to communicate and play like brothers.

Like Kyle, Weasley is humble and respectful, on and off the field. He leads by example; qualities the Feather of Courage recipients must possess.

Coach Garcia describes Weasley as an important part of our team these last few years. Both coach and player are glad Weasley was part of this team.
