Addison’s story is a deep commitment to serving others that began during her high school years at Calvary Lutheran Church. She was fully immersed in the youth program that included worship and serving as a day camp counselor. Her involvement extended to mission trips and outreach events where she consistently stepped in to help wherever needed. Through her dedication, she earned leadership roles on the youth team and became a peer minister.
Those experiences gave Addison more than just memories. Through peer ministry, she learned how to communicate through difficult situations with empathy and understanding. She credits those lessons with helping her find her “forever people,” friends built on trust, honest communication, and genuine connection. Her heart for service has continued through volunteering and regularly supporting students with disabilities through the College-Based Transition Program at Buffalo State.
Addison leads not through recognition, but through consistent, intentional actions by welcoming others, reaching out to those who feel unseen and setting an example through kindness. Addison shows that leadership doesn’t need to be loud to make an impact. Her story is a reminder that steady, faithful service can shape lives and strengthen entire communities.
